Volunteer Code of Conduct

 

As a volunteer staff member of the Diamond Dawgs Girls Flag Football Organization, I recognize the importance of upholding the highest standards of integrity, respect, and professionalism to ensure a positive experience for all athletes, families, coaches, and fellow volunteers. I am committed to supporting the organization’s mission and creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.

Volunteer Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Conduct myself with honesty, integrity, and respect towards players, coaches, officials, families, and fellow volunteers.

  • Promote positive attitudes, good sportsmanship, and teamwork in all interactions.

  • Support and follow the policies, rules, and guidelines of the organization.

  • Communicate professionally and courteously, avoiding gossip, negative comments, or inappropriate language.

  • Respect the decisions of coaches and officials and accept their authority during games and events.

  • Maintain confidentiality about players and team matters.

  • Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any concerns or issues promptly.

  • Volunteer actively and reliably, being punctual and prepared for assigned duties.

  • Refrain from any behavior that is disruptive, aggressive, or unprofessional.

  • Model and encourage inclusive, respectful behavior that promotes the organization’s values.

 

Rights and Disciplinary Actions:


The organization reserves the right to dismiss or suspend any volunteer staff member who does not adhere to these standards, exhibits inappropriate behavior, or violates policies. Dismissal may occur immediately if deemed necessary to protect the safety, integrity, and positive environment of the organization.
