Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct

 

As a parent/guardian of a player on the Diamond Dawgs Girls Flag Football Team, I recognize the importance of fostering a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants. I commit to demonstrating good sportsmanship, respect, and integrity in my interactions with players, coaches, officials, other families, and the organization.

 

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities:

  • Support the team and players by promoting positive behavior both at games and during practices.

  • Treat all players, coaches, officials, other families, and team members with respect, kindness, and fairness.

  • Refrain from aggressive behavior, verbal abuse, or confrontations with referees, coaches, players, or other parents.

  • Encourage a supportive environment that emphasizes enjoyment, skill development, and teamwork over winning.

  • Promote sportsmanship, patience, and understanding at all times.

  • Avoid negative or inappropriate social media posts about the team, players, coaches, other families, or the organization.

  • Respect decisions made by coaches and officials, accepting their authority and judgments during games and practices.

  • Do not defame, criticize, or engage in gossip about the Diamond Dawgs organization, staff, or any participants.

  • Respect the rules and policies of the team and organization, including attendance and communication protocols.

 

Consequences:


Failure to adhere to this Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension from attending games or events, or other necessary actions to maintain a positive environment. The organization reserves the right to address inappropriate behavior to ensure a respectful and safe experience for all involved.
